Lotus
‘Lotus', an installation featuring over one thousand origami lotus blooms folded from advertising junk mail, is inspired by the Buddhist proverb “The lotus flower blooms most beautifully from the deepest and thickest mud.” Both highly topical and richly poetic, 'Lotus' encourages meditation upon the environmental impact of consumerism while presenting beauty emerging from refuse.
