Black Box II
The foreground of a landscape is delicately excavated from a found image and set against an impenetrably black back drop. A lone figure in the foreground now stares into the abyss. ‘Black Box II’ makes visible the invisible and offers a glimpse into the space left behind when something disappears. Gentle, humorous and disturbing the works explore the growing sense of foreboding surrounding climate change and the realities of our vanishing planet.
